Hi, I’m Amanda!

I am a Certified Support Planner with experience working across all counties, currently serving as the liaison for Dakota County cases at North Star Support Co. In this role, I help ensure smooth coordination, clear communication, and person-centered support for the individuals and families I serve.

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Interpersonal and Intercultural Communications and take great pride in my ability to connect with others on a deep, personal level. With me as your planner, you won’t feel like a number - I strive to be a trusted part of your support network as you navigate the often-overwhelming world of support services and paperwork.

In addition to my work in support planning, I am actively involved in the Special Education department at my local preschool, where I step in as a substitute instructional assistant or teacher. This hands-on experience keeps me closely connected to the day-to-day needs of children and families and reinforces my commitment to creating supportive, inclusive environments.

Outside of my professional work, I am also a mother to two children with various special needs. While I can never fully understand each family’s unique journey, I’ve walked the path of caregiving and the challenges that come with it. I have experienced the isolation and confusion firsthand, which fuels my commitment to helping others feel heard, understood, and supported.

In a field where change is constant - whether it’s case managers, FMS coordinators, or shifting system - I strive to be a steady, reliable presence for the families I work with. My professional background and personality have shaped me into someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable. You can trust that I will do what it takes to ensure things are done thoroughly, accurately, and always with your best interests in mind.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, who help keep me grounded and centered. Whether it’s a day at the lake or a quiet night at home with my favorite shows and a good puzzle, I value the moments that allow me to recharge and stay connected to what matters most.
